France has been in a political turmoil in the last few weeks, with the European elections and the following legislative elections. Unnoticed from the general public, the French chemical society (SCF) held elections to renew the regional boards, the thematic divisions' boards, the board of the French young chemists' network, and its board of directors a few weeks ago.
I had the pleasure to run for two elections simultaneously: the board of the French young chemists' network and the board of directors to represent the young chemists. It is a great honor and a great pleasure to announce that I have been elected in both cases.
The transition meeting of the young chemists' network's board took place June 28th. During this meeting, I have been appointed vice-president of the young chemists' network's board.
The first meeting of the new board of directors making the transition took place July 12th. In the course of the meeting, I have been elected and appointed vice-president for the young chemists in the executive board of the French chemical society.
It is for me a great honor to be able to serve the scientific community through the French chemical society.
